Indeed it is surely not the first time that brainwashed children have committed crimes of violence "for the Cause". But in this case, I understand that Kadhar is being charged with murder in what was obviously a combat situation. As this conflict is always referred to as "The War in Afghanistan" or The "War on Terrorism", I'm thinking the worst he could be charged with is war criminal, and I emphasize the word "worst". The fact remains he was involved in deadly military action and as such is technically not guilty of any "crime" in that respect. At the end of WWII Hitler sent children to face the advancing Allies and they more than likely killed many. Yet I don't remember any of them being charged with anything. They killed as soldiers... they died as children making most of the arguments seem rather moot. Let's all look forward to the day we can say "Welcome back Kahdr". A.
